Kingdom Vision Solutions Replied on September 11, In reply to AlexanderHarmsen's post on March 5, Having this same issue on Win 10 machine and was told by Microsoft tech support rep to roll back to Windows 7 since the driver is not supported. The strange thing is that It worked with Windows 10 initially, then stopped working.
It displays in Safe Mode and also with the Microsoft Basic Driver, but when I put the original driver back it does not display on the laptop only through the VGA port to an external monitor. Dell says they do not offer Win 10 support, but this is an Intel driver. I hope Intel has a solution, because rolling back to Windows 7 is a tedious process requiring reinstalling software and apps, which I feel is a terrible use of time if this could simple be solved by changing drivers. Both my Display driver and my graphics drivers are up to date. I have Windows 8. I have Windows update off to prevent from updating. Was there any fix for this issue since then? Any and all ideas welcome! SHedgy Replied on February 4, In reply to SuvamMukherjee's post on December 2, I've got another issue: BSOD, when I simply try to install this driver.

Others having similar issues might try this, though the second step is relevant only to VAIOs. Get the latest driver for Intel HD from the Intel website. Then restart your computer. These two steps completely resolved my issue. Crookesmoor Replied on December 1, In reply to Vijin V's post on October 24, SuvamMukherjee Replied on November 29, I have a persistent, and really annoying, issue with the brightness control.
All too often, the brightness control stops working. I HAD to disable automatic brightness control altogether. With Windows 8, I had absolutely no issues. My driver is up-to-date.
When can we expect a fix? The issue is really annoying. This site in other languages x.
