Even though the drivers were updated on September 4, , they are for Sierra I agree it is odd that Canon releases new drivers just 2 weeks before High Sierra but it seems that is how it is! Sadly, Canon shows these drivers as compatible with High Sierra, but releasing them on 4 Sept, weeks before High Sierra was released, is an omen of incompatibility, until they recompile the drivers against a shipping version of High Sierra.
